We could not be more pleased with CMX Construction, who delivered the home of our dreams. COVID created a few situations that required us to look for a new house. We discovered a property under complete overhaul by CMX. The house was perfect for us! Once our offer was accepted, Glen and his team were incredibly open and collaborative on the finishing touches - we got to pick all the colors and finishings to our liking. Everything about the process with CMX was top notch. Glen and his team - including all the subcontractors - were excellent craftsmen, friendly, fair, transparent and a delight to work with. We have worked with other contractors on remodels before and never had such a positive experience. While we are sad to see our interaction conclude for now, we feel like we made new friends in the process. Thank you, Glen and team, for all that you did to make these clients happy. A special shout-out to Ronny, the one from the team charged with finishing the punch list - he is one of the most hardworking men you could ever meet, who efficiently and meticulously completed the list. We had a great experience working with CMX Construction to put an addition on our home. Glen and Roger were very responsive; they stayed in close communication throughout the project, were receptive to our questions and were always willing to discuss options and details. They were also flexible when the cost and permit process required them to be. We are very pleased with the outcome - the addition is seamless and we love the way our house looks and functions.

We have worked with Glen and his team for two home projects and are currently in the process of having his team finish our basement. Our initial home project was relatively small; which was removing a load bearing wall, creating a fireplace with built-ins, and flooring. We were so pleased with the results of our first project that we didn’t hesitate to contact Glen once again when we were able to do our major addition/remodel of our home. Glen and his team at CMX have worked on two major projects for us. The first was an extensive renovation to our home in Logan Circle, the second was another extensive renovation to an 1850’s farmhouse in Western Maryland. Both projects were completed close to the originally agreed schedule and within the expected budget (apart from some change orders on our part.) Glen has a great eye for detail and finishes.

CMX proved to be the ideal company for my complete home renovation. Built in 1957, my house required a redesigned interior to improve functionality, and included the removal of the chimney and fireplaces, as well as the replacement of all windows, doors, bathrooms and associated plumbing, and kitchen.
CMX provided their own fully-qualified workers for this 6-month project, and also selected and managed subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, tiling, painting, and roofing.
Glen focused on the critical project aspects - budget, schedule, and an excellent result – and completed the project on time and within budget. He completed all elements of the project with an eye for the details, ensuring all work met his exacting standards, as well as mine. I am very pleased with the end result -- a renovated home of which I am proud. I whole-heartedly recommend CMX.
